Our workshop area is finally starting to take place. We were very lucky to get a massive workshop table from a local business closing down with enough room for 8-10 youth around it and their parents during our Thursday sessions. The roof means we can now do tools whenever we like on session and start creating some tool storage. It is such a relief to not have to change our program if the weather is not great. it may not look like a lot yet but after a bit of an organize and paint it will be amazing! A container is on the way which will house all the donated wood that will fuel these workshops.

Dinner at the pools, lots of splashes and water fun. Wednesday's have been a lovely night to catch up. The kids and adults have enjoyed the hydra slides, playing ball games and noodle battles!
We are very grateful Parakai Pool is giving us a great deal to swim during term.

It is awesome to see our first family laser tag night of the year sell out. We had a great crowd turn up and lots of new faces. The kids and adults enjoyed the competition between each other and those adults who didn't play relished the quiet to chat and get to know each other.
There was a huge amount of competition on the air hocky table and lots of fun on the arcade games of course! It is so great to have these included in the night for free...
Our shared table of snacks seems to get bigger and better each time which is probably a good thing as the kids seem to get hungrier each time! We were very excited to meet the new owners and to hear that Dominique is an ex homeschooler and very keen to work with our group!
