The Roof is Started!

We have been working hard to get the roof started as sessions have not been possible through winter without it! We finally got enough for the roof material and this first step has transformed the area! There is still a long way to go and more materials needed for our roof to be ready to handle all weather conditions and allow events/ sessions to not be interrupted. A floor for the 'Grub Room'

We were very lucky to score a load of bricks for a great price from a driveway removal and these have now become the floor of the grub room! This area is massively important not only for the great cooking youth will do in there but it is also the entrance to our skills space. Our next project in this space is to build the brick fire ovens and shelves for equipment to be stored on during workshops.
