The Grinch pays a visit for Christmas...

We ended the year with a lovely party in true Life Learners style busting out moves on the new dance floor to beats, cool lights and thick fog. The day was hot and sunny with the kids enjoyed using the slip n slide, bouncy castle, as well as hanging on the deck and catching up. 

Our surprise visitor was not Santa but the Grinch! He found his way around our party definitely showing some of his grinchy charm but made up for it by passing out well needed ice blocks.

This was a great send off for the end of the year and a nice trial of our partially build new session base.

A Cruise down the Kaipara River...

We charted our trip on the Kewpie cruising down the Kaipara River and harbour today. The boat was very comfortable and our captain informative; teaching us some local history and showing us amazing sights!

We docked at Shelly Beach and spent some glorious hours picnicking, swimming, kayaking, playing and exploring. The weather could not have been more spectacular!

We then departed heading further into the harbor to explore and the headed back to Parakai wharf.

Thank you for those who came and all who gifted your tickets that were not able to attend. These were gratefully received and used by a couple of families.
