Things to know about payments and cancellations:

Sessions at Life Learners Base:
The small cost to book session workshops and events goes towards the group’s venue hire, consumables, other expenses and to continue growing the groups supplies/equipment.
Bank transfer is offered for session payments to keep session fees as low as possible.


Once you have made your booking an invoice will be emailed to you which includes the details of the group bank account for bank transfer - check your spam or promotions folder! If you do not received an email with payment details please get in touch as soon as possible by emailing: norwestlifelearners@gmail.com

Use the invoice/ order number as reference in your bank transfer payment. This ensures we can find your payment. 
It is advised to make payment at the time of booking as this makes it easier for you to not forget.
If payment is not received for your booking after 48 hours or by 5pm on the Monday before your booked session
your booking will be cancelled. If there is a waitlist the website will automatically offer the booking to the next interested person. 


Life Learners weekly session fees are low due to volunteers running the workshops and most aspects of Life Learners. We run on a shoestring budget to make things affordable and book our sessions weekly
as we feel this makes attending equitable for all families.


Nonpayment of a booking without discussing with the coordinator could result in future bookings  being turned away.
Life Learners sessions are run voluntarily and this creates extra work. 


Event Bookings:
Event bookings are paid via secure card payment online. There is also the option of Afterpay.
If you do not have these options available to you get in touch and payment via bank transfer
on an individual basis can be accepted.  

 

Cancellations/ Refunds for sessions and event bookings:
Outings, workshops, camps and classes will have a cancellation date cut off for bookings. Any cancellations after these dates unfortunately mean payment often cannot be credited as equipment will have already been packed, supplies bought roles finalized or in the case of outings things have been booked and paid. Unless there is a cancellation through the company or through conditions that mean we cannot run the event we cannot refund. There is no refunds or credits for no shows.

Thursday sessions cannot be refunded after the Monday before the session you have booked as equipment will have already been packed, supplies bought and roles finalized.



Bookings can be transferred, sold or gifted.

Transferring/ Selling: just get in touch once you have finalized this with the person and email us their details for transferring the booking. The Life Learners Facebook Chat can be used for this. 

Gifting: If you are unwell or unable to attend and wish to gift your booking please let us know as soon as possible and we will endeavor to give it to a family. This is often very appreciated by families who were unable to otherwise attend. 


These guidelines can change at the coordinator's discretion.
