A Technical STEM Challenge for the older kids!
Service Description
In this workshop youth will be challenged to plan, build and evaluate a suspension bridge design from materials that holds the items weight given to them. ABOUT STEM: STEM challenges are mini-projects or activities where students work individually or in teams to brainstorm, design, and build something that addresses a specific problem or task. These challenges often involve using a combination of STEM skills, such as problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. STEM challenges aim to make learning engaging and relevant by allowing students to apply their knowledge in a practical way, fostering a deeper understanding of STEM concepts and developing valuable skills. Students may be given specific materials to work with, a time limit, or a set of constraints to make the challenge more difficult and encourage innovation.
