The environment allows youth to work at their own pace with the space operating weekly with no pressure to finish within specific timeframes as projects getting worked on can get stored until the next session. Youth will learn perseverance, patience and gradual skill building. We try to keep the focus more on hand tools then power tools to build fine motor skills and organic/base level skills with tools that take time and practice to master. This terms projects will be a cactus garden, birdhouse, putt putt boat, gutter board game and more... IMPORTANT: Closed toed shoes are required in the workshop area. Youth must finish a project before moving on to the next thing. One project maximum per workshop.
