Service Description

Little Learners play spaces are open from 10am - 2.45pm This contribution allows us to run comfortable and fun areas that cater for all our little ones while the older kids are in workshops. Everyone who comes to session either helps with set up or clean up which allows us to keep the cost of our group down and ensures our volunteers are not overburdened. If you are unable to help or have any questions; please get in touch. INSIDE AREA: Little Learners Playgroup will have a variety of toys & books set up inside the lounge that change weekly. In this area is some comfy couches for feeding māmā and pēpē, a large carpeted floor area for play, a pēpē play pen and a baby gate that leads onto the the mudroom, covered eating area, Tinkerspace (where 4-7 year old workshops are held) and the cuppa station. OUTSIDE: There is a gated playground area with 2 grassed levels and a playhouse, fort, slide, swings, boat, picnic table, sandpit, water play, trampoline and climbing frame. Caregivers are expected to please supervise their children or arrange with another person to be responsible for their child at all times and ensure that they have with them what they need to look after their families first aid needs and medical needs (stings from insects etc..)
